A senior police officer was at the receiving end last Thursday, November 19, 2009, when one of his subordinates allegedly caught him naked in his bedroom ready to sexually assault his (the subordinate’s) wife.

The junior officer, Constable Collins Kodjua, of the Rapid Deployment Force, (RDF) after seeing his senior colleague, Inspector Fusseni of the Court Unit of the Ghana Police Force, landed him many slaps, threw him out of his room naked to the chagrin of some colleagues in the flats where they lived.

The wife of the senior officer, who was also said to be a police officer attached to the RDF, became furious after hearing that the pandemonium that broke out in the flats was about her husband.

She was said to have been angered by the fact that her husband had been subjected to slaps by a subordinate. She, therefore, went to the flat of Constable Kodak and dished out some slaps on his face and remarked, “because of that should you slap my husband? I have also slapped you.”

The senior officer, among others, was said to be fond of harassing young ladies, both police officers and civilians, whether married or not. In this particular case, the wife of the Constable was said to have warned the senior officer that she was married and could not engage in such illicit act.

Narrating the story to The Mirror, a source at the unit said the junior officer told his flat mates that he was travelling, and so Inspector Fusseni thought it was a field day for him to fulfil his pent-up desire.

Unfortunately for Inspector Fusseni, the Constable aborted his intended trip, only to find him (Fusseni) in his room stark naked. The source said prior to that, the wife of the junior officer had been reporting the conduct of Inspector Fusseni to her husband, and that he should not leave her alone in the room.

True to the words of the wife of the junior officer, the Inspector entered their room and undressed himself ready to ‘descend’ on the woman. However, the timely return of the Constable truncated the senior officer’s much awaited and ill-hatched plans.

The senior officer was matched out of the room stark naked according to the source. At the moment, there is some level of tension as some of the ladies want what happened to be the turning point in the lives of the officers who have been harassing them.
